JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and implement comprehensive email and SMS marketing strategies to drive engagement, retention, and revenue
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign alignment with broader marketing initiatives and business goals
  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify optimization opportunities and continuously improve strategies
  • Leverage customer data and insights to create highly targeted and personalized email and SMS campaigns
  • Collaborate on identifying and refining audience segments to optimize content relevance and engagement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email and SMS marketing
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as CASL and PIPEDA, and promote best practices across the organization
  • Contribute to the development of automated and personalized email and SMS flows to nurture customer relationships
  • Identify opportunities to leverage email and SMS marketing to support loyalty program engagement and retention

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Email Marketing, Omnichannel Marketing, or Lifecycle Marketing
  • Deep understanding of customer segmentation, A/B testing frameworks, journey mapping, behavioural triggers, and personalization tactics
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-first mindset and experience analyzing data within Salesforce, PowerBI, or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of CASL and PIPEDA regulations and ability to evangelize compliance best practices
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with common CRM platforms and Marketing Automation Tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Understanding of the impact of storytelling on driving engagement and passionate for building fan-first communications
  • Experience building strategies for automated and personalized email and SMS flows
  • Familiarity with Project Management Tools (e.g., Trello, Airtable) is a plus
  • Exposure to copywriting, creative direction, or content planning for Email Marketing campaigns is desirable
  • Experience working with customer data platforms (CDPs) or integrating multiple data sources for targeting is an advantage
