Greater Brisbane Clinical School Part-time (20%), fixed-term position from January 2025 to December 2027 Base salary will be in the range $140,293 - $161,518 + 17% Superannuation (Academic Level C) Based at our Ipswich Hospital About This Opportunity As Principal Specialty Supervisor, - Medicine, you will play a key role in shaping the future of medical education by leading high-quality clinical teaching within the Clinical Unit and across the wider Learning Community. Working in partnership with the Mayne Academy and the Academy for Medical Education, you will support the integration of learning across all four years of the program and foster strong connections with hospital and community care clinicians in your specialty. Highly visible in the clinical environment, you will bring recognised expertise and a proven academic track record, while also providing leadership and supervision for Specialty Supervisors and Educational Registrars. Key responsibilities will include: Teaching & Learning – Provide specialty-specific leadership in delivering high-quality clinical education, supervision, assessment, and feedback across all years of the program, while supporting colleagues and contributing to curriculum improvement. Research (where applicable) – Maintain an active research profile with quality outputs, funding applications, and engagement with best-practice methodologies, including the scholarship of teaching and learning.
