Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans in partnership with cross-functional teams. Collaborate with business leadership and product development to support product initiatives and launches. Hire, manage, train and develop OPT marketing staff. Manage department budget and compensation programs. Build productive relationships across stakeholders, including customers and vendors. Plan and manage promotional campaigns, trade show materials, sales meetings, and focus groups. Identify market trends and opportunities to strengthen commercial performance. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure clear and consistent messaging. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. Minimum 12 years of progressive marketing and sales/sales management experience, preferably in the medical device industry. Minimum 5 years personnel management experience. Experience in capital equipment and consumables in the medical/surgical setting, particularly ophthalmology. Strong direct sales 'downstream marketing' experience mandatory.
