• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or a related field (with MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in financial analysis or an equivalent reporting and analytics role, preferably in the non-profit sector
• Advanced MS Power BI, MS Excel (including PowerPivot), and MS PowerPoint skills
• Experience working in an international or cross-cultural environment including management of different time zones
• Proven ability to navigate complex structures and build effective relationships with stakeholders across the global organization.
• Proven ability to develop complex financial analysis and then present it in a concise, impactful way to influence senior leadership
• Experience working with financial related metrics and analytics in a marketing context
• Certification in Advanced Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint Presentation, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in these tools.
• Experience working in a matrix organization, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex reporting structures and collaborate effectively across different functions and departments.
• Proficiency in advanced data visualization techniques and best practices, enhancing the ability to present complex data in an easily understandable format.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Marketing Analytics Lead ensures the alignment of finance and marketing data and narratives by leading the collection, consolidation, and reporting of global marketing metrics, as well as various financial and market analyses. This role is pivotal in reporting of private fundraising performance and supporting strategic decisions about future fundraising strategies. This role is responsible for data management, analysis, and reporting of marketing data, fundraising results, peer reviews, and market share analysis. The Marketing Analytics Lead ensures that all reports are accurate, insightful, and timely, providing senior leaders with the information they need to make informed decisions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the overall global marketing metrics consolidation as well as partnering with SO Finance and Marketing teams to leverage accurate, timely, and insightful reporting and analysis.
Lead the process to collect, consolidate and review the monthly global marketing metrics and other data into our key systems and ensure alignment of data and narratives between Finance and Marketing. This role has the ownership of the backend dataset, report production, and user-facing reporting and analysis environment in Power BI and other tools, as appropriate.
This role partners with SO and NRD Finance and Marketing teams, Data Warehouse and Data Modeling team and ensures delivery of key Marketing reports and analytics.

This role is also critical in providing marketing data and analytics reporting requirements for key finance, marketing and other partnership meetings and forums (RDLC, RDW, PRAC, etc.).

• Timely and accurate data collection from SOs and NRDs. Monthly marketing metrics data and reports are error-free and delivered on schedule.
• Efficient and effective data consolidation process, including close collaboration with the Data Warehouse and Data Modeling teams.
• Strong partnerships and engagement with SO Finance and Marketing teams on marketing data and analytics.
• Senior leadership is equipped with comprehensive and core marketing and finance analytics, enabling informed and strategic decision-making.

Lead the annual peer review and market share analysis.

This includes partnering with peer organization forums to understand market trends and gain insight into donor behaviors and fundraising strategies. This information will be critical in creating custom analysis for participating offices to ensure World Vision remains well-informed and strategically positioned in its fundraising efforts.

• Strong partnership with peer organization forum contacts, and effective data management throughout the process for the related data.
• Accurate and clear reporting and analysis done for senior leadership for various forums and meetings.
• Effective fundraising strategies and informed decisions that support the organization’s mission and long-term sustainable growth.
• Detailed and tailored reports that inform strategic decisions and enhance the organization’s understanding of its market position and performance relative to its peers are delivered in a timely manner.
