On behalf of our client, we are accepting applications for Quality Assurance Technicians in London, Ontario. The successful candidate will support a World Class leader in the Defense industry, who aid in the design and manufacturing of light and medium sized armoured vehicles. This position will be on an evaluation hire basis (temporary to permanent); with approximately a 4 month evaluation period.

• Monitor work being completed, equipment, premises, welds, and product in order to ensure quality in all areas
• Take samples, measurements, density samples, inspection reports and follow up with QA supervisor with findings
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, etc.
• Assist with tooling
• Jump in with full on assembly & production to ensure quality is up to standards
• Participate in training where required
• Prepare work instructions as required
• Compile data within MS Excel and complete reports with other Microsoft Office application
• Provide support for quality investigations and resolution of quality issues.
