Job Title - Architect
Location: Santa Clara, California
Responsibilities:

Provide technical engineering expertise for our key product architecture , including contributing toward the development of our proprietary Product Roadmap and key phase of the Architecture Scalability. Duties will include the following:

• Contributing to a key phase of Deployment Capacity (on-premises vs cloud);
• Supporting clients and stakeholders leading delivery of end-to-end design and development of solutions;
• Providing expertise to sales and market strategy for given products;
• Achieving continual enhancements, which includes application, design and implementation of new modules that enhance platforms and solutions;
• Understanding customer requirements to determine key factors for project scoping;
• Serving as a high-level liaison between external customers and internal cross-functional engineering teams to gather requirement and design new modules;
• Driving the design and prototype effort by contributing to project planning, risk management, and risk mitigation plans;
• Guiding and supporting stakeholders in making good decisions that proactively resolve or mitigate potential project risks/delays;
• Overall responsibility to ensure the company’s product and architectural roadmaps address the business needs and technical requirements of customers;
• Creating key architecture assets for designated business scopes;
• Conducting research on Cloud technologies, performing proofs of concept or prototypes; and
• Recommending architectural solutions to future product roadmaps.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related engineering/scientific/quantitative field such as Software Engineering.
• 4+ years of related experience in the computer software industry, including experience architecting, building, and deploying cloud native product solutions.
• Conducting research on Cloud technologies; architecting proof of concepts; and development and implementation of product growth strategies.
• Experience in Java, Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, Agile Development; AWS, GCP, Python, and Cloud Native; liaising between Business and Engineering teams to successfully implement solutions for customers.
• Experience with IP routing product lines and developing architectural roadmaps and solutions; SDN solutions, REST APIs, GNMI, XML/JSON/protobuf data communications.
• Asynchronous Messaging technologies; Networking Protocols for switching and routing; and Telemetry and Monitoring/Observability solutions ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
