Description We are looking for a Software / Cloud Engineer to help design, build, and scale the cloud and backend systems that power our OXA autonomous vehicle platform. You’ll work closely with autonomy, robotics, data, and infrastructure teams to enable real-time vehicle operations, large-scale data processing, simulation, and continuous deployment of autonomy software. This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and autonomous vehicle technology—ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex, real-world problems at scale. This role will require you to be on-site in Jacksonville, FL on occasion. Ideal candidates will live within driving distance of Jacksonville. What You’ll Do Design and build scalable cloud services to support autonomous vehicle operations, data ingestion, storage, and analytics Experience with supporting and troubleshooting distributed web services using the following technologies: Google Cloud Platform services, specifically GKE, CloudRun, CloudSQL; Message-based architectures, specifically RabbitMQ; APIs and related technologies, specifically ReST, gRPC, Protobuffers; and Databases and related technologies: GCP Cloud SQL, PostgreSQL.
