JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Product Applications Engineer to join our team and drive our customer pursuits in North America. Turntide designs, develops and manufactures axial flux motors, HV inverters, LV motor controllers, batteries, pumps and fans for Commercial Vehicle, off-highway vehicle and non-road applications.
We sell our product directly to OEMs and System Integrators. Our axial flux technology is unique in the industry and offers higher power density and higher efficiency compared to radial flux technology. The power electronics line is positioned to offer the highest performance at the lowest cost. OEMs and System Integrators combine our batteries in series and parallel to offer different system level voltages and energy levels creating the perfect energy storage and drive unit for each application.
This position is based in Waterloo and will report to the Director of Applications Engineering. Expect to travel around once a month on short notice as required by customer and lab priorities.
