We are now seeking an experienced Cold Store Supervisor to join our goat processing facility in Bourke, NSW , located alongside the Darling River.
The Opportunity
As Cold Store Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day cold store operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining product quality, compliance, safety and operational efficiency.
You will lead and support a dedicated team, ensuring all processes are completed in accordance with TFI’s Quality Management System, WHS requirements and relevant DAWR regulatory requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cold store, warehouse, meat processing or manufacturing supervisor looking to join a growing Australian-owned global food business.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cold store operations to meet production and dispatch requirements.
- Ensure agreed production targets, operating efficiencies and yield expectations are achieved.
- Maintain product quality and compliance with DAWR licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor product movements, storage conditions and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure all cold store processes and procedures are consistently followed.
- Prepare accurate daily operational and production reports for the Production Manager.
- Maintain cold store, production, quality and compliance documentation.
- Promote and maintain a strong workplace health and safety culture.
- Lead, coach and train team members to build capability, performance and accountability.

- Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Logistics teams.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement practical solutions.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with TFI’s Quality Management System and WHS Management System.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in cold storage, warehousing, meat processing, manufacturing or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve operational targets.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Knowledge of food safety systems, including HACCP and GMP .
- Understanding of DAWR, export, domestic and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience managing inventory, product movements and operational documentation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and listening skills.
- The ability to use data and operational information to support business decisions.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- A current Australian Driver Licence.
- A current Forklift Licence.
- AUS-MEAT Sheep Meat Specification Level 2 qualification will be highly regarded but is not essential.

- $85,000 – $95,000 + 12% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave
