About This Role We’re looking for someone who’s excited to wear multiple hats and make an impact across both IT and network operations in the Dallas metro. Based primarily in our Richardson office, you’ll be the go-to person for making sure new hires are set up for success with the right equipment, tools, and access from day one. You’ll also be the first call when day-to-day IT issues pop up, helping the office run smoothly. But that’s just one side of the role. You’ll also be out in the field, supporting our operations sites around the DFW area. That could mean installing and configuring networking equipment indoors and outdoors, verifying cabling, or troubleshooting site connectivity issues. It’s a mix of problem-solving, hands-on technical work, and people-focused support — all critical to keeping our teams connected and moving fast. If you’re someone who loves variety, thrives on solving puzzles, and enjoys both office and field work, this is a role where you’ll see the impact of your work every day. Responsibilities: Our ideal candidate has a technical background, has experience in a customer support or IT admin role, and understands the day-to-day aspects of an IT organization, especially in a high-growth startup with ever-changing requirements. Troubleshooting for all IT-related topics and in-depth research to find the best technical solutions. Administering a wide variety of SaaS apps; provision/modify/remove access as needed. Ordering/procuring equipment, maintaining vendor relationships, and inventory management for all IT hardware and software. Partner with all business units and collaborate on projects. Deploy networking equipment ranging from custom ethernet cabling, up to switches and firewalls, preferably with prior experience troubleshooting wired and wireless network issues. Able to communicate effectively and concisely to the entire company. Supporting a global workforce, partnering with overseas IT teams, both employees and consultants. Analyze existing processes, suggest and make improvements, and implement business processes where none exists. A desire to learn and expand your horizons; take on new challenges as the business scales and things break. Familiarity with Layer 1, 2 and 3 network infrastructure (various cabling standards, firewalls, switches, Access Points). Ability to lift 50 lbs over short to medium distances, carry light loads up and down stairs, crouching or crawling as the situation demands.
