The team at Fixed Income Technology dept is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Business Intelligence Engineer / Tableau Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise, capable of designing, developing, and optimizing data visualization and reporting solutions. The successful candidate will effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders across all organizational levels.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 plus years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, and/or Data Engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau (Desktop, Server, Prep).
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Proven experience in managing and implementing successful projects.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Advanced SQL Skills: Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimizing query performance, especially for queries running on millions of rows.
• Data Modeling: Solid understanding of data modeling principles, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehouse concepts.
• Scripting: Experience with Python and Shell scripting for data extraction from flat files (e.g., .csv) and loading into databases.
• Java: Knowledge of Java to support and enhance custom-built ETL frameworks.

DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong knowledge of working with diverse data sets.
• Understanding of the complete IT landscape, including Systems, Applications, Database, Networking, Physical, and Cloud Architecture.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Exceptional communication skills, with a consultative approach to addressing complex environments.
• Ability to ingest, adapt to, and integrate new technologies and protocols on demand.
• Comfortable navigating complex enterprise policies, organizations, and differing agendas.
• Resourceful, creative, and able to find innovative ways to achieve results.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques and methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively, adapting to unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
