Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant discipline required. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is an asset. Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng) required. 6+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering for industrial, commercial, and/or institutional buildings. Strong background knowledge in Building Design with an emphasis on mechanical systems (HVAC/Plumbing/Fire Protection). Knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as the Canadian National Building Code (NBC(AE)) Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to meet deadlines/successful completion of deliverables. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with the LEED accreditation process is an asset.
