We are looking for an enthusiastic server to provide an excellent guest dining experience. The successful candidate will be able to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction while following all guidelines established by the Food and Beverage department. You will provide superior guest service while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment as a member of the Marcus Theatres food / beverage team. Your Future Responsibilities as a Member of our Team: Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience. Interact with guests in an efficient, hospitable, and professional manner from the beginning to the end of their experience. Greet the guest in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions. Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items. Assess guests' needs and preferences to make recommendations. Record the details of the order from the guests. Input the order into the Point of Sale to inform the kitchen of the particulars in the order being placed. Immediately communicate any food or service issues to management. Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness. Follow up on guest requests and pre-bus tables throughout service. Deliver food and beverage orders within established timeframes. Multi-task and assist teammates. Work at a fast pace. Consistently use suggestive selling techniques. Complete assigned sidework. Bus and reset tables as needed. Verify guests that purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age. At Marcus Theatres we strive to create Magical Movie Memories for our guests.
