This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

• Obtain information from patient and/or family/guardians/caretakers to identify major complaints, symptoms, or reason for seeking health care.
• Document patients’ chief complaints and other pertinent information in the health record.
• Take all vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, pain level, height, weight, measurement of head circumference).
• Assist physicians with various examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Screen and review immunization records in accordance with regulations and unit Standard Operating Procedures to select required immunizations, correct dosages, and routes of administration.
• Administer oxygen, IV fluid and prescribed oral, rectal, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications.
• Perform both, administrative and logistical task as a member of the healthcare team for the clinic by contributing to maintaining the environment and resources to deliver healthcare.
• Inform and educate patients and/or family regarding self-care procedures.
