As a Level III Perinatal Center, comprehensive patient centered obstetrical nursing care is provided for both low and high-risk families during the antenatal, labor and delivery and immediate postpartum periods. The Labor and Delivery Unit (L & D) is composed of twenty eight (28) Labor and Delivery Rooms (LDRs) that provide the expectant family with the opportunity to remain together as a unit during labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period. Qualifications Education/Training • Nursing School Graduate • Successful completion of a 30-hour approved IV therapy course within 30 days of hire for inpatient/SNF only. Licensure/Certification • Current nursing license in the State of Florida renewed every two years. • Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification. Experience At least one(1) year of experience as a LPN in LDRP, OB/GYN, Antepartum, Post-Partum units is preferred.
