Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide nursing care to patients at home according to the treatment and care plan prescribed by the physician.

2. Assess the patient’s health condition, monitor vital signs, identify clinical changes, and report any concerns promptly to the physician.

3. Perform nursing procedures within the scope of professional licensure and demonstrated competency.

4. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician instructions and medication safety policies.

5. Collect blood and other clinical specimens when ordered by the physician and within the scope of professional licensure.

6. Verify patient identity before providing any healthcare service or performing any clinical procedure.

7. Accurately document all home visits, assessments, procedures, treatments, and clinical observations in the patient’s medical record.

8. Follow infection prevention and control procedures, including proper sterilization and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

9. Educate patients and their families regarding the patient’s condition, medications, home care instructions, and warning signs requiring medical attention.

10. Provide compassionate and respectful care while maintaining patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.

11. Immediately report any medical emergency or sudden deterioration in the patient’s condition and follow the approved emergency management protocols.

12. Maintain and safely handle all medical equipment, supplies, and materials used during home visits.

13. Ensure proper disposal of medical waste and sharps in accordance with approved infection control and safety policies.

14. Coordinate with physicians, medical coordinators, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of patient care.

15. Adhere to scheduled visits, work assignments, and all administrative and operational policies of the clinic.

16. Participate in quality improvement activities, internal audits, and initiatives aimed at enhancing home healthcare services.

17. Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient, medical, and clinic-related information and disclose it only to authorized personnel.

18. Perform any other duties relevant to the position as assigned by management within the scope of professional practice.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.

· Valid professional nursing license issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

· Previous experience in home healthcare or clinical nursing is preferred.

· Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

· Good knowledge of infection prevention, control procedures, and patient safety.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and demonstrate professional responsibility.
