Job Description Overview: Individual will perform preventative/predictive maintenance, repairs and improvements on industrial equipment in an automated food processing facility while keeping a high regard for employee safety, food quality and machine efficiency. Here's what you'll do: Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to safely complete work assignments Knowledge of safe and responsible operation, maintenance, and organization required for tools and equipment used in mechanical and electrical work to protect self and others in the workplace Responsible for the proper setup and safe operation of the equipment Perform all necessary start-up/shutdown procedures, cleaning, troubleshooting, and calibration on a regular basis to assure accuracy of equipment operation Perform and log uptime and downtime inspections, lubrications, and preventative maintenance work Create Work Order requests using Oracle for needed equipment repairs Execute our company and mission goals but not losing sight of employee and food safety Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform corrective work on all packaging equipment within the department Coach and mentor Machine Attendants and Operators Work closely with reliability team to identify machine’s issues or root causes and propose solutions Engagement in identifying safety and food safety hazards (for example, GMP audits, weekly Critical Behavior Observations, sanitation checks, etc.) Hand off to the next shift, a work area that you yourself would expect from the other shift Assist in the continuous improvement efforts at the facilities in Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Cost and Productivity Operate packaging machine and or act as a breaker when required Ability to work in various temperatures (e.g., warm, hot, cold, freezing) Creating / validating equipment programs for all pack SKUs Ability to listen and follow oral directions to carry out assigned tasks according to directions by management Perform other assigned duties that meet business needs Must be able to work the offseason as business requires Follow the Wonderful Citrus safety policy First Responder to all equipment downtime.
