This individual will support all aspects of design projects for roadways, utilities, sewers, and bridges, prepare schematics and models, and perform analysis and engineering calculations. Additionally, this role will support the development of plans, specifications, and estimates, as well as the preparation of technical engineering reports and the performance of construction management for various projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform basic fundamental design and modeling tasks Participate in data research, collection, and compilation efforts. Analyze and correlate scientific and engineering data and recognize discrepancies in results using a series of related detailed steps or processes. Assist in the preparation of reports, studies, and technical memoranda. Adhere to project deadlines and keep the Supervisor informed of any difficulties encountered on assignments. Responsible for reporting on projects to ensure a quality product is produced in accordance with the schedule. Perform all other duties as assigned. Candidates must be between 18-24 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. A physical exam, TB test, and fingerprint background check are also required.
