We are hiring a Behavioral Health Technician / Recovery Guide for our Red Oak Recovery Foothills facility in Ellenboro, NC. Recovery Guides teach a wide variety of coping strategies and emotional regulation skills to our clients, empower clients to take responsibility for their actions, promote and encourage clients to make healthy decisions and positively motivate clients by modeling healthy behavior. Responsibilities: * Work as part of an integrative treatment team implementing compassionate clinical care * Facilitate therapeutic interventions, process groups, mindfulness sessions and educational groups * Help clients navigate an interactive schedule which includes education, sports, meditation, yoga and adventure activities * Lead clients on overnight adventure activities (hiking, canoeing) * Provide a high level of physical and emotional safety to our clients   Scheduling: * BHT work onsite 7.5 days on and 6.5 days off.
