Cleans and maintains various floors surfaces. This includes carpet, wood, marble, vinyl, vct, stone, tile, slate etcPerforms floor care using equipment such as ride-on, walk-behind, and manual operated machines for scrubbing, buffing, and polishing of floors. Apply wax and other floor care products under the guidance of EVS Leadership. Cleans, polishes furniture/fixtures in assigned areas and arranges furniture and/or equipment as directed. Dispose of biochemical waste in accordance with policy and procedures. Cleans floors with vacuums, dust mops, and/or wet mops. Collects and removes trash and recyclable items and deposits to designated area. Maintains security and confidentiality of areas by locking/unlocking doors and performing related functions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous environmental services or custodial experience. Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.
