About the Role Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering planned, preventative, and reactive HVAC maintenance across a diverse portfolio of Auckland Council buildings. This is a mobile, self-managed role where you’ll be trusted to plan your day, attend sites, and deliver high-quality service. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems across commercial and industrial sites Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics to ensure optimal system performance Proactively identify and address potential issues (including refrigerant leaks) Maintain accurate asset registers and complete all job-related documentation Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Ventia professionally Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards Support energy efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement practices Participate in a shared on-call roster (approximately 1 in 4 rotation) What You’ll Bring We’re looking for a senior, trade-qualified HVAC professional with strong technical capability and the ability to work independently.
