What you'll be doing Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and machinery. The role requires a strong understanding of diesel engines systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with diagnostic tools. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines and related systems to identify issues. Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on engines and other vehicles components. Conduct field visits for emergency repairs or breakdowns. Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks. Execute tire service tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance. Operate heavy equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks. Maintain detailed records of service repairs and parts inventory. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop or field. Requirements Qualifications Strong knowledge in Electrical, Hydraulic, and Mechanical diagnostics and repairs. Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in diesel engine repair. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools Knowledge of Aftertreatment systems. Familiarity with industrial equipment and heavy machinery operation. Proficient with diagnostic software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong troubleshooting skills related to electrical systems in diesel vehicles. Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills. ASE Certifications are a plus but not required.
