A Day in the Life of a Set-Up Technician As a Set-Up Technician, your day is focused on preparing equipment for delivery, demonstration, and customer use. You may spend your morning assembling new equipment, installing attachments or integrated solutions, and performing pre-delivery inspections. Throughout the day, you’ll test systems, complete setup procedures, and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and operating properly before it leaves the dealership. This is a role for someone who enjoys working with their hands, following detailed processes, and taking pride in quality workmanship. Every day is different, but the goal is always the same: do the job right and prepare equipment the right way.
