Summary:

Join our dedicated team as an Aged Care Support Worker in Woollahra. You will provide compassionate care and support to elderly clients, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors. If you have a caring nature and a commitment to quality care, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients' conditions.
  • Support clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
  • Ensure a safe and clean-living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification (desirable)
  • Previous experience in aged care or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient attitude towards elderly clients.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.
  • Current National Police Check
