Responsibilities The Credit Policy Specialist is responsible for developing, writing, and publishing credit guidelines for Spring EQ, with a strong emphasis on Non-QM and alternative lending products. This role supports the organization by researching and analyzing agency, investor, and proprietary Non-QM requirements, maintaining policy alignment with industry updates, and assisting internal teams—including sales management, processing, underwriting, and closing—with policy interpretation. The specialist ensures that underwriting guidelines and credit policies are clearly understood and consistently implemented across all departments, particularly for complex Non-QM scenarios.
