Working out of our Lebanon Pines department and reporting to the Facilities Director, you will apply your skilled trade knowledge to handle a range of maintenance, grounds, and safety responsibilities across SCADD properties. Responsibilities include: * Maintain buildings by performing routine painting and minor repairs to electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems * Notify management of the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment * Maintain grounds, including mowing grass, trimming shrubs, clearing litter, and keeping fences and walls free of vegetation * Complete weekly fire and safety reports as assigned * Participate in safety committee meetings as assigned * Remain available after hours to respond to emergency maintenance issues * Ready all facilities for seasonal changes, including maintaining, installing, or removing air conditioners, and managing ice and snow removal supplies and equipment * Clear snow, ice, and debris from sidewalks and parking areas at all SCADD properties as assigned * Participate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge necessary for the performance of duties What You'll Need: * High school diploma or equivalent; three to six months of related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Skilled-level experience in building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or related trades * Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (no or minimal infractions) required * Ability to identify potential hazards and take action to ensure the safety of people, buildings, and grounds * Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing needs in a timely manner * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment * Commitment to SCADD's values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice Why SCADD?
