EPAM is looking for a Senior Architecture Technology Consultant who brings a comprehensive blend of technical and consultative skills to drive and support our technology strategy conversion, ensuring alignment with business objectives for our clients who are mainly in the Retail space.
The role requires a background in solution architecture, technology consulting, client engagement and stakeholder management. You must have the ability to engage in opening discussions, identify technology needs, recommend the right technology choices and deliver cutting edge solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant work experience
• Fluent English speaker, with Dutch being a strong advantage
• Strong hands-on experience as a senior solution architect or technology consultant having worked within a technology/business consulting or engineering organization
• Retail/e-commerce industry experience and, ideally a history of implementing digital commerce and omnichannel solutions
• Strong experience working with multi-disciplinary project teams and delivering technology solutions for large-scale complex transformation projects whilst being able to help clients make the right technology choices for the ultimate success of their business
• Excellent client-facing experience with the ability to influence and guide management teams on the right technical solutions combined with a consultative, problem-solving approach suitable to their short and long-term goals
• Able to think outside the box, drive end-to-end initiatives and engagements, understand the complexity and relative timeframes of creating a roadmap for a core capability in a global multinational organization
• Pre-sales experience with the ability to act in an advisory capacity to senior-level client management whilst executing and leading rapid conceptual designs, proof-of-concepts and client presentations

• Assess and evaluate existing technology platforms and architectural frameworks to identify areas needing enhancements or overhaul
• Provide strategic consulting services on technology adoption, implementation and integration, ensuring optimal alignment with organizational goals
• Design and architect innovative, scalable, and secure solutions that address both current and future business needs
• Serve as a lead technology consultant to direct and support technical teams throughout project life cycles, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards
• Facilitate collaboration across various business units and IT departments to create cohesive and interoperable technology solutions
• Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps that clearly outline the progression and timeline of implementations and upgrades
• Maintain a continuous improvement strategy that incorporates feedback from technology users and analytics on system performance
• Create detailed documentation, including architectural designs, proposals, and implementation plans to be shared with stakeholders and executive teams
• Take an active role in aligning closely with EPAM’s wider leadership teams to help shape the business/technology/strategic direction and footprint across client projects with varying degrees of maturity
