We are recruiting a Sales Associate who will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales activities at Shabby Chic, assisting customers throughout their shopping experience, facilitating purchases, and providing excellent customer service. The Sales Associate will focus on achieving individual sales targets while actively contributing to the overall store sales performance and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Greeting customers when they walk through the entrance
• Building rapport through conversation and honest recommendations
• Ringing up sales and arranging for delivery or pick-up of the customer’s order if needed
• Inviting the customer to join a loyalty program if there is one
• Assisting in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor
• Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times
• Achievement of individual targets
• Consistently demonstrate excellent selling skills
• Thorough knowledge of features & benefits of products and brands in the store
• Understanding of competing brands and prices
• Aware of internal procedures, processes, and systems
• Protection of stock (minimizing stock loss & damages)
• Drive the businesses KPI’s; ATV, ASP, IPT to always be above the expected threshold

Requirements:

• To actively approach all aspects of work in a positive, productive, and professional manner
• Excellent sales, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Working knowledge of customer, market dynamics and requirements
• Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to please each and every customer by offering outstanding customer service
• English language is essential
