POSITION: OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Location: Concord, ON L4K 2G3
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Day shift, 07:00am – 4:00pm, 42.5 hours/week
Salary: $42,520 – $46,000 annually (negotiable)
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrative Assistant to join our
manufacturing and industrial plant team in Concord, ON. This is an on-site position in an urban
work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Type, proofread, and manage correspondence, forms, and documents.
Receive and forward telephone and electronic enquiries.
Maintain reports, databases, and inventories; perform data entry and bookkeeping tasks.
Process incoming/outgoing mail and prepare shipping documents (bills of lading,
invoices).
File, label, store, retrieve, and manage documents and financial data according to
retention schedules.
Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
Schedule transportation conveyances and assist with other office duties as required.
Requirements:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: 1–2 years in office administration, shipping, or records management.
Computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access), accounting software
(ACCPAC), database management.
Equipment experience: Scanners and general office equipment.
Ability to read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
Must be bondable and able to pass a criminal, credit, and confidential security check.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
Comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Work must be completed on-site, no remote option.
