ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/electrical/mechanical engineering, construction management, or business management.
• 15+ years’ experience in the industry with experience in a project management role.
• Proficient understanding of architectural & engineering drawings, site development, site acquisition, zoning, permitting, project management, geotechnical, and survey as it relates to oil and gas industry.
• Capable of assisting with quality control for oil and gas projects
• Experience mentoring and empowering engineers newer in their career.
• Experience with the entirety of an oil and gas “major” project
• Willing and confident performing business development activities
• Experience with project financial accountability and tracking
• High level of proficiency in the Microsoft office suite: excel, outlook, word, etc.
• Background in working with Fortune 500 clients.
• Thrives in a collaborative project environment and enjoys all forms of communication while working with clients and team members (virtual, in-person, phone).
• Enjoys taking on a leadership role as a servant leader in the community and within the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Management in our Energy group provides the opportunity to interact with multiple stakeholders and in a wide variety of services that encompass our discipline: this includes complete A&E design, survey, energy assessments, environmental assessment, site acquisition, zoning, permitting, site walks, and field services.
• Client Engagement and Management offers a chance for the Project Manager to develop and build programs and client relationships to grow this team: this includes understanding clients’ needs and how they translate into specific scope and reporting systems.
• Strategic Planning includes working with the team to develop and execute strategic actions aligned with both Energy and GPD Group goals: GPD is looking for a highly motivated individual that helps driving growth and opportunity for the company.
• Mentoring and developing the Energy team to further our success in the industry: this includes not only engineering and technical training but empowering those teammates to find their passion and skills in our industry and translating that to continued career success.
• Administrative oversight: using key performance indicators, this includes developing, communicating and tracking workflow tasks, scheduling, evaluating risk management, monthly job cost and billing with ongoing forecast reviews.
