IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate is an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong technical expertise in AWS/Azure cloud platforms, AWS architecture design, and must-have experience in cloud migration and application modernization (including ERP, CRM, and legacy systems). They bring proven Agile project management skills and exceptional leadership abilities, driving complex initiatives from strategy through execution while collaborating with diverse technical and business teams.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have: Cloud migration and modernization experience, including ERP, CRM, and critical legacy on-premise applications.
• Experience in Analytics & Reporting Systems within Azure and/or AWS environments.
• 6+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in software management, engineering, or design.
• Skilled in Agile methodology and project delivery, with strong soft skills, upward reporting ability, and team leadership.
• Hands-on expertise in AWS architecture and deployment, including:
• Designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Multi-region/multi-set architectures, virtual networks, availability sets, and affinity groups.
• AWS IaaS services (compute, networking, storage, databases, backup/DR, monitoring, security).
• AWS PaaS technologies (Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Application deployments (Web UI frontends, RESTful/SOAP services).
• Experience with Azure IaaS technologies and integration with hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with application stacks (.NET, C#, Powershell, Visual Studio TFS/VSO).
• DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and PowerShell deployments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, including Windows OS, Active Directory, Federated AD, integration, governance, and identity services.
• Familiarity with Office 365 and SharePoint services.
• Client-facing consulting skills with experience working in large enterprises and building strong relationships.
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation).
• AWS Certifications preferred: Solutions Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or Systems Ops.

• Serve as SME across multiple agile software development lines and the associated platform.
• Be responsible for project management planning and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Perform technical assessments of on-premise applications and infrastructure, identifying migration readiness and dependencies.
• Create cloud migration plan reports with recommendations, including modernization strategies, cost estimates, timelines, and risk mitigation.
• Partner with application product teams to accelerate deployment of new ideas while ensuring fault tolerance, scalability, and sound AWS architecture principles.
• Lead and oversee cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including ERP, CRM, and 10–15 critical legacy on-premise applications, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and review project activities to align with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with users, leadership, vendors, and technical staff to assess needs, define requirements, and resolve issues.
• Act as a liaison across distributed teams, ensuring effective communication, cooperation, and timely problem-solving.
• Drive solution-oriented project delivery, ensuring milestones are met and reporting progress effectively to leadership.
