En juist daardoor weet jij als Manager Projecten waar je op moet sturen. Dit is een rol waarin je bouwt. Aan projecten, aan mensen en aan een organisatie die volop in ontwikkeling is. Dat vraagt om iemand die het speelveld kent en weet hoe het werkt als het complex wordt. Maar vooral om iemand die durft te leiden. Binnen SWARCO werken we aan projecten die Nederland letterlijk in beweging houden. Technisch complex, multidisciplinair en vaak met een lange doorlooptijd. Een omgeving waarin veel gebeurt en hard gewerkt wordt, maar waar tegelijkertijd nog stappen te maken zijn in structuur, overzicht en sturing. Als Manager Projecten geven je leiding aan de projectorganisatie binnen de Business Unit PAM. Daarmee geef je indirect leiding aan een brede groep Professionals van circa 50 FTE, van projectmanagers en teamleiders tot engineers, vaak aangevuld met de inzet van onderaannemers die tijdelijk binnen de verschillende projecten worden ingezet. Jij brengt overzicht en richting en zorgt dat de projectorganisatie als geheel klopt. Dat iedereen dezelfde kant op beweegt en dat projecten beheerst en voorspelbaar verlopen. In de praktijk betekent dit dat je continu schakelt. Tussen strategie en operatie. Tussen cijfers en mensen. Tussen wat er vandaag speelt en waar je over een paar jaar wilt staan. Je kijkt vooruit, maar verliest het hier en nu nooit uit het oog. Je zit aan tafel in het MT en denkt me over de koers van de businessunit. Tegelijkertijd ben je betrokken bij projectreviews, stuur je op resultaten en grijp je in wanneer dat nodig is. Je brengt structuur aan, zorgt voor duidelijkheid en helpt de organisatie naar een volgend niveau. In deze rol gaat het er niet om dat je alles zelf oplost. Het gaat erom dat jij ervoor zorgt dat jouw team het werk goed kan doen. Dat projecten in control zijn, afspraken worden nagekomen en er op tijd wordt bijgestuurd als dat nodig is.
