Your New Role AustralianSuper is looking for a senior Project Manager to lead a complex, regulator‑driven initiative delivering the Fund’s Division 296 obligations. This role requires a seasoned PM with strong experience managing regulatory change in large financial services environments, capable of establishing end‑to‑end delivery across tax, actuarial, investment, member operations and external partners. You’ll be accountable for de‑risking delivery through clear scope definition, current‑state and gap analysis, dependency management, and development of a credible target approach and delivery roadmap, while operating in a high‑governance, audit‑sensitive context. Success in this role demands excellent stakeholder management at executive level, disciplined financial and milestone control, and the ability to translate complex legislative requirements into scalable, compliant, and member‑centric outcomes with minimal disruption. Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Project Manager, the Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering complex, enterprise-wide initiatives within AustralianSuper’s Enterprise Group Delivery function. This is a 12‑month maximum term opportunity where you will be responsible for end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards in a dynamic and highly regulated environment. Working within a matrix structure, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and third‑party vendors to translate strategic objectives into tangible outcomes that enhance member and business value.
