Overview A Big O Alignment Technician performs the required mechanical duties in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all company programs, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities Perform brake, front end, and alignment maintenance as well as mechanical work in accordance with all company programs, policies, and procedures Maintain the orderly flow of customer service assignment to ensure productivity Ensure that Big O’s Extra Care Services are extended to all customers Properly diagnose and repair customers’ vehicles, performing quality control of all shop functions Safely operate customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions, moving vehicles as needed to, and away from, service areas Attend weekly store meetings to review safety issues, store policies, procedures, and product information changes as required Assist in organizing, documenting, and processing adjustments and core credits Work with store management to ensure the successful accomplishment of budgeted service-related quotas Ensure that all appropriate information for completed work is given to the counter personnel for inclusion in final invoicing Utilize the company outside purchase program to ensure maximum profitability Ensure the consistent execution of the vehicle inspection program Promptly and efficiently perform alignments, inspections, and other duties to support store achievement of established service, sales, and productivity goals Assist management in the orientation, training, and coaching of new personnel All MFA Oil employees are expected to know and adhere to company and position specific policies and procedures.
