The Javelin JV programs reside within the Precision Fires & Maneuvers Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) within Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS). This position will provide the necessary Contracts leadership of a growing $900M+ portfolio consisting of 5 Contracts Professionals and require adeptness at developing and maintaining strong, credible, and productive relationships with partners and Customers. This role will report directly to the Director, Contracts of the Precision Fires & Maneuvers SSBU. This portfolio is currently comprised primarily of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Foreign Military Sale (FMS) contracting with opportunities for further growth. In this role, the successful candidate will have supervisory responsibility over 5 Contracts Professionals, responsible for their growth and development, as well as leading the front-end assessments and strategy development, supporting the development and execution of sound capture and negotiations strategies, internal and external customer relationships, and ensuring contracting actions are proactively supportive of the business’s long range financial planning. This role will be remote and is expected to travel to be onsite with the Javelin Contracts and Program team in Tucson, AZ on a monthly basis and to Customer and Partner locations as program support needs demand. Travel expectations are 33%.
