Job Summary The Standard Missile 3 team is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to join the SM-3 IB program as a Material Program Manager located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. This role will be dedicated to working Supplier Capacity projects to ensure the supply base can meet future demand. We are looking for a self-starter who can develop and achieve program objectives in a matrixed environment and is able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this role, you will be the liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Team for Supply Chain. This position is contingent upon a contract award. Employment in this role will only be extended if the program is awarded to the Standard Missile 3 portfolio. The successful candidate will influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function as well as with parties external to the organization. What You Will Do Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans Support supplier negotiations and drive PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives Contribute to timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) to include Risk & Opportunity management Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs). Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs). Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.
