JOB SUMMARY
Your core responsibilities will be to work in conjunction with the Director to develop, implement, and evaluate targeted recruitment strategies to encourage high school students to consider college, and attract a talented and diverse population of first-year students to apply and enroll in LSA.
This position is in the Office of Student Recruitment, which reports to the Assistant Dean for Student Development and Career Initiatives in the Division of Undergraduate Education. You will report to the Director of Student Recruitment.
The Office of Student Recruitment is committed to increasing college access for students currently underrepresented at U-M, promoting LSA’s liberal arts education, and connecting prospective undergraduates to appropriate campus resources to help them thrive. Our unit is a dynamic, friendly work environment that values innovation and collaboration.
The nature of this role requires overnight travel and working evening and weekend hours. Employees in the position have the option of working a hybrid schedule of days on campus in Ann Arbor and working remotely.
Candidates must have direct experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and identities. Candidates must also have the ability to effectively articulate the values of a liberal arts education to a broad range of constituents.
