SENIOR IT CONSULTANT - JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for onsite and remote support to our clients
• Manage support requests through our ticketing system
• Provide top-notch Customer Service with timely and accurate support
• Design and implement networks, including Firewalls, Windows servers, workstations, remote backup, wireless networking and virtualization
• Deploy and support network, security and desktop solutions
• Install, configure, and deploy new hardware / software as well as upgrades and maintenance
• Setup and Support of Cloud Services
• Assist in developing and applying Cyber Security solutions to protect our clients
• Provide Application support to Users involving a wide variety of applications
• Provide general Systems Administration and Documentation for our clients
• Coordinate with external consultants and vendors regarding hardware, software, implementation, and system expertise
• Research and provide solutions to clients
• Monitor and manage systems
• Collaborate with team members to investigate problems and develop solutions

SENIOR IT CONSULTANT - QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous IT Consulting Experience (required)
• Windows Server Support, Group Policy, Active Directory (required)
• Microsoft Server Installation Experience (required)
• Desktop Hardware support experience (required)
• Firewall, Router and Switch setup and management experience (required)
• Microsoft 365 Implementation / Support experience (required)
• Minimum job requirements are a two-year college/vocational technical degree or higher plus 3 years or more of experience in a professional capacity. OR, 5 years or more experience in a professional capacity supporting computer end users, computer operating systems and associated computing hardware.
• Strong customer focused communication skills, customer service, written and verbal communication, documentation, and telephone skills.
• Hard working with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, teamwork oriented.
• Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
