Description du poste We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join our Variable Team in Belgium. This role will support a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate projects across multiple client accounts, providing flexible cost management and quantity surveying expertise wherever required. Working within a dynamic client-facing environment, you will collaborate with internal project management teams, external consultants, contractors, and occupier or investor clients across a broad range of sectors including office, industrial, logistics, labs, and mixed-use developments. This is an excellent opportunity for an adaptable professional who enjoys variety, stakeholder engagement, and exposure to different project types and client environments. Fluent English required; Dutch and/or French would be beneficial. Key Responsibilities Provide full pre- and post-contract cost management services across commercial real estate projects. Prepare cost plans, budgets, estimates, and feasibility studies at various project stages. Support procurement activities including tender documentation, bid analysis, and contractor recommendations. Manage valuations, variations, change control, and final accounts. Monitor project costs and provide accurate financial reporting to clients and internal stakeholders. Work closely with project managers and client teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved. Support multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously as part of the Variable Team structure. Review contracts and identify commercial risks and opportunities. Assist in benchmarking, market analysis, and value engineering exercises. Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with T&T standards, governance, and health & safety requirements. Skills & Experience Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management, or related discipline. Experience within quantity surveying or cost management, ideally in commercial real estate, fit-out, or construction consultancy environments. Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability. Ability to work across varied projects and adapt quickly to different client requirements. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience preparing cost reports and managing project financials. Knowledge of Belgian construction market practices is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost management software/tools.
