JOB DESCRIPTION :

Position: Workshop Foreman / Supervisor (Automotive | European)
Salary: $2,400 - $2,500 + OT + Productivity Incentive
Location: West
Working Hours / Days: 8.30am - 6.30pm (Mon - Fri) / 8.30am - 12.30pm (Alt Sat Off)

RESPONSIBILITES:

Observe and perform detailed investigation on up-coming product problems and work closey with Workshop / Service Manger, Technical Manager from Franchise Principals
Provide support to workshop on matters related to product and repair technology with information, advice and practical assistance
Purchase and distribution of the technical literature an documentation to the workshops according to needs
Planning, purchasing and distribution of Franchise Principals diagnosis equipments and special tools according to the needs of retail and the recommendation of Franchise Principals
Assist Sales and Marketing Department in the preparation of launch and press cars together with retail operation
Responsible for the quality of service and repair work carried out by team members
Responsible for conducting both in-progress and final quality check of vehicles
Liaison with Customer Service Advisors (CSA) on service / repair related matters
Supporting CSA on test drive and service related matters
Responsible for the use, maintenance and proper condition of tools and workshop facilities
Responsible for safety, good order and tidiness in the workshop and the discipline of staffs under his care Requirements:
At least 4 - 5 years of experience in servicing light automotive and leading a team of technicians in Authorised Workshops or Service Centres
Minimum Nitec 2 in Automotive Technology or equivalent
Experience in leading a team of technicians to carry out preventive, repairs and maintenance
Possess a Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license
Experience in handling European / Continental cars will be a plus point
Able to work on weekends and commit to OT
