How you’ll make an impact in this role This traveling clinic role requires reliable transportation, with one site per day. Primarily supports Seton Main, Seton Southwest, and Seton Hays, with flexibility to float to other locations as needed. Deliver preoperative patient care as a Registered Nurse, ensuring patients are prepared, informed, and clinically optimized for safe, high-quality surgical outcomes. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, reviewing medical history, medications, and risk factors to identify concerns and support patient safety and effective care planning. Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, initiating physician consultations and preoperative testing to ensure readiness and address clinical issues before surgery. Educate patients and document all interactions in Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) to support care coordination, compliance, and an improved patient experience.
