Directly supervises Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure assignments and care are complete based on professional standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following: • Visible commitment to the CES mission, vision, and values; emphasizing and modelling the need for collaboration and teamwork. • Personally participates i the evaluation and delivery of care including medication administration, treatments, Adl care, etc. As ordered by physician and outlined in plan of care (According to scope of practice) • Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident activity and ensure resident/patients receive quality care based on professional standards and facility policies • Evaluate residents physical and psychosocial status • Communicate with residents, family members, physicians and supervisor regarding resident status • Maintain up to date and accurate medical records during tour of duty on assigned unit • Coordinate and prepare for new admissions, transfers, discharge of residents • Transcribe physicians orders • Assist in updating the plan of care that addresses the needs of the residents/patients • Complete incident/accident reports • Understands, complies with and promotes all rules regarding resident rights • Maintain safe and clean work area • Ensures proper storage of equipment and supplies
