Support providers with in-office procedures (e.g., colposcopies, IUD insertions, biopsies). Administer medications and injections, including vaccines and hormone therapies, as prescribed. Assist with prenatal care, postpartum follow-ups, and routine gynecologic visits. Educate patients about reproductive health, pregnancy, contraception, and preventive care. Triage patient phone calls and messages, assessing urgency and coordinating appropriate follow-up. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Ensure compliance with all clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with front desk and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling. Participate in ongoing staff education, quality improvement initiatives, and team meetings. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa (required). Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (OB/GYN or women’s health experience strongly preferred). Current BLS certification (required). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in using EMR systems (experience with [insert system name if known, e.g., Epic, Athena, etc.]).
