We’re looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join the Pre-assessment team, at The Lister Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
As a Senior Pre-Assessment Nurse, you will conduct thorough health assessments and provide comprehensive support to patients at the pre-assessment clinic, enabling them to be as prepared for their procedure and subsequent recovery period.
The role will involve taking patient medical history assessing, checking patient’s suitability for surgery and undertaking pre-operative tests for all our patients.
As a Senior Nurse you will provide patients with detailed information about their surgical procedures, including risks, benefits, and post-operative care instructions, and ensure they have a clear understanding of the process

The Lister Hospital and its outpatient centres are located in the heart of Chelsea and have consistently provided care and treatment in London for over 30 years. We offer access to leading consultants from London’s top teaching hospitals and contemporary treatment, with several highly specialised units including fertility, gastroenterology and cardiology.
With 57 beds across three floors, we offer a specialised service, bespoke to our patient’s needs. Our six-bed critical care unit provides dedicated specialised care to seriously ill patients with a range of surgical or medical conditions.
