THE OPPORTUNITY

Within EY’s Technology Risk practice, we are currently seeking a Manager to lead and manage and execute third party assurance engagements, specifically SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC3 reports as well as other IT compliance services. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their control environments, performing assessments, and preparing detailed reports that meet the standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

As an ambassador for the Tech Risk team, you will need to build a strong network internally and be able to exceed our clients’ high expectations. We are seeking high performing individuals who have been recognised for exceeding expectations.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This candidate will be required to participate in our Technology Risk services offering. This includes, but is not limited to:

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience (post-graduation) working as an auditor for a public accounting firm or have equivalent systems/technology experience
• Extensive SOC reporting experience, as well as experience with IT Audit methodologies (internal and external audits)
• A strong understanding of the requirements set under CPA Canada, AICPA and ISAE, as it pertains to SOC reporting
• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Commerce, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or another relevant program
• Possess relevant IT / audit designation(s) (e.g. CPA, CISA, CRISC)
• Proven ability to teach and develop your team’s knowledge as it relates to CPA and AICPA reporting standards.
• Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, committed self-starter
• Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
