We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will contribute to the evaluation and management of emerging risks within global risk management frameworks. • Conduct thorough audits to assess the effectiveness of risk management practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Evaluate emerging risks and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate potential issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational risk management strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Develop and implement audit methodologies tailored to address unique challenges within global risk management.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to identify areas requiring attention.
• Facilitate risk assessments and provide expertise on mergers and acquisitions processes.
• Lead audit planning sessions and oversee the execution of audit programs.
• Support organizational initiatives aimed at improving risk management frameworks and practices.
• Ensure all audit activities align with high standards and internal policies.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in audit, risk management, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in operational risk management and related frameworks.
• Proven ability to evaluate and address emerging risks effectively.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Experience in conducting audits for mergers and acquisitions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing audit methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
