As our Financial Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling our financial operations while helping steer the company’s strategic direction. This is more than a traditional finance role, it’s a chance to lead, innovate, and help build something meaningful from the inside out.

You’ll own the full financial cycle - from daily operations to strategic insights. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading month-end and year-end closes, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Overseeing payroll, allocations, and employee record compliance
• Managing capital asset and loan schedules, and supporting grant/funding reporting
• Handling HST filings and preparing other tax requirements
• Monitoring A/P and A/R, supporting cash flow, and assisting collections
• Collaborating across departments to ensure accurate expense tracking
• Enhancing financial systems, controls, and reporting tools
• Providing actionable insights for forecasting and strategic planning
• Mentoring junior finance team members
