Our software client is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst for a two-month term with the possibility of extension. In this role you will perform a variety of accounting duties in a complex, multi-entity business.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Postsecondary education in a relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience in full cycle accounting and accounts payable.
• Working knowledge of Netsuite a strong asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong numeracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized with strong time management and organizational skill

• Creating and processing a intercompany invoices, ensuring proper documentation and coordination across subsidiaries
• Preparing monthly financial close deliverables, including journal entries, reconciliations, and close checklists.
• Overseeing intercompany balancing by liaising with finance teams across portfolio companies
• Tracking, archiving, and reviewing invoices for proper expense approvals, updating internal records in accounting systems with correct GL codes.
• Maintaining, monitoring, and processing invoice payments through various banking systems.
• Support process improvement initiatives related to monthly close, accounts payable, and more.
• Other duties as required
