A growing client of ours, a global manufacturer, is hiring an FP& A Manager to join their team in Columbia, SC. This is an on-site position that allows for collaboration with key leaders of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• 5+ years of business, finance, or relevant experience, M& A exposure preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
• High proficiency in finical modeling techniques.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Power BI preferred.
• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal problem-solving skills.
• Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess interpersonal and facilitation skills.

• Work closely with the leadership team to formulate the business’s short and long-term financial and strategic plan.
• Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
• Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance, and work with operating team to implement solutions.
• Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results, work with business to drive solutions.
• Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results.
• Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost-saving initiatives
• Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions.
• Lead preparation of monthly financial results and Monthly Operating Review presentation, including recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining of operations.
