A leading FMCG/Fun Foods company in Dubai is seeking to hire an Tax Accountant to join its growing finance team. This role is critical for managing the full taxation and function of accounting tasks.

• Prepare and submit VAT, corporate tax.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax Law and treaties
• Stay updated on tax laws and assist with audits
• Assist with tax audits, queries, and assessments from the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) or other relevant bodies
• Review contracts for tax implications
• Support month- and year-end tax provisions and reconciliations
• Coordinate with departments and external auditors on tax matters
• Maintain documentation to support tax filings
• Record and verify invoices
• Post vouchers, accruals and provisions
• Maintain the chart of accounts
• Prepare monthly balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow statements
• Compile monthly reconciliations and financial statements
• Issue monthly invoices to internal and external customers
• Review accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Keep organized accounting systems
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Prepare reports analyzing variances, budgets, and forecasts
• Conduct internal audits as needed
• Manage employee reimbursements

THE IDEAL TAX ACCOUNTANT SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in large Knowledge and experience in VAT, Corporate Tax and Withholding Tax
• Proficient in QuickBooks, ERP systems or NetSuite.
• Comfortable working with numbers
• Diligent and systematic approach to work
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent ability to deal with pressure
• Good planning and time management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
