SAIC is seeking a Business Process Modernization Analyst for a future program. Work will be performed on site in Bremerton, WA. The Modernization Analyst will support the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Program. This is a unique opportunity for those passionate about advancing the U.S. Navy’s critical maintenance and operational capabilities. At the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, you will excel in a dynamic environment, supporting national security needs and contributing to advancements in digital networking technologies, disaster recovery operations, encryption, and comprehensive IT infrastructure (ITIL). Additionally, you'll play a key role in refining engineering solutions, enhancing cloud-based infrastructure services, and developing new tools and processes to further the US Navy's operational effectiveness. This position is contingent upon award, anticipated announcement in Fall 2025. Position Responsibilities: Support the implementation of COTS/ERP solutions such as Oracle, SAP, or PeopleSoft across all software development phases, including requirements, analysis, design, development, and testing. Assist in conducting process assessments, mapping current workflows, and identifying inefficiencies to aid in process improvement. Collaborate with Database Engineers and Enterprise Engineers to leverage data integration and standard software configurations, developing custom enhancements when necessary. Utilize proven development standards and enterprise-approved methodologies to develop and test solutions, ensuring software changes do not negatively impact the existing environment. Aid in the development and maintenance of project status reports and internal project maps, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with standards. Provide support and training to stakeholders, fostering an environment of continuous improvement. Ensure minimal service disruption during transitions by implementing the Transition-In Plan within the specified timelines, aiming for seamless integration and no service degradation. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of professional experience, additional years of experience may be consider in lieu of degree. Experience in participating in COTS/ERP software development phases, including requirements, analysis, design, development, and testing. Familiarity with tools like Oracle, SAP, or PeopleSoft to support process improvements and data integration. Skills in conducting process assessments, mapping workflows, and identifying inefficiencies, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to develop and maintain project status reports and internal project maps, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Knowledge of standard software development methodologies and proven development standards to develop and test solutions.
